City of Kelowna – Construction of Transit Exchange Expansion-KLO & Shepherd Rd.

Carver was selected through the RFP process to complete the construction of two transit exchanges for the City of Kelowna.

The first location, Shepherd Road, construction will include the expansion of the bus bay, construction of a transit operator washroom and additional amenities, reconfiguration and expansion of the parking lot for improved accessibility and drop-off areas, and preparation for future installation of EV charging station.  This portion of the work will be completed by the end of 2025.

The second location, KLO/Okanagan College, construction will include the expansion of the bus bay and passenger platform, additional amenities along KLO Road, traffic modifications at the College’s main entrance, relocation of a pedestrian crosswalk, and traffic signal upgrades at Campus West Road, including a cycle pathway extension. Carver expects to be on site for this early of 2026, with completion in the same year.
